When it comes to a wedding that’s both stylish and fun, this couple took it to the next level with their wedding at The Revery in Los Angeles. By combining the charm of an alternative bistro with the energy of disco, we created a celebration full of character. Set against The Revery’s industrial-modern backdrop, this wedding offered unforgettable moments with an unconventional twist.
Sierra and Andrew came to me with a unique vision: they wanted to combine a dance club vibe with a homey Italian feel. Naturally, a pizza disco idea came to mind. This allowed us to blend a lively party atmosphere with a sense of community. To achieve this, we used gingham on the tables and lots of personal touches. At the same time, we incorporated high-design elements like unique florals and sophisticated table decor. The result was a seamless mix of fun and elegance, perfectly reflecting the couple’s style. The building has a modern industrial style, highlighted by white walls, concrete accents, light oak floors, and expansive windows that flood the space with natural light. This made it ideal for capturing a meal-hall vibe by day, before transforming into a vibrant disco scene by night. Fun fact, Beyoncé hosted the launch of her hair care line, Cecred, there in early 2024.
What’s a party without pizza? For dinner, guests enjoyed a pizza buffet from Triple Beam Pizza, a Los Angeles favorite. To complement the bistro vibe, guests sipped Aperol Spritz cocktails, Sierra and Andrew’s drink of choice, for a citrusy burst.
The fun continued with a dessert spread of cookies and a retro cake. Plus, to beat the autumn heat, the couple brought in an ice cream truck from King Kone Ice Cream to keep everyone cool.
Dance and style were key to their celebration. Therefore, they chose a checkered dance floor, adding a chic, retro vibe. Meanwhile, Birch and Bone Floral transformed the spaces with lush florals. Stage Labs curated the lighting, casting a playful glow over the dance floor.
To start, each ceremony seat had a fan and a small bell. When the couple kissed, guests rang their bells in joyful chorus. At the reception, the couple surprised everyone with an outfit change, adding a bold pop of red to match their colors. This new look brought even more energy to the celebration. For fun, a photo booth let guests capture memories, while table numbers featured old photos of Sierra and Andrew.
This bistro-disco wedding with a pizza party twist is perfect for couples who want a fun, stylish, and unexpected celebration. From the cozy bistro vibe to the lively disco dance floor, it was a true celebration of love, laughter, and community.
